What are the eligibility criteria to add a child in HealthHub?

As parents, you can add your child under Children’s Health if your child is below 21 years old; and meet either of the eligibility criteria:

  1. Both you and your child are Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident* OR
  2. Your child is currently enrolled in Primary, Secondary, Junior Colleges or Centralised Institutes and you are listed as his Legal Guardian. This excludes students in Pre-schools, Religious schools, Private schools, Polytechnics and Universities.

HealthHub as the national digital health app relies on the official records from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to perform eligibility check on nationality/ citizenship and Parent-Child relationship, as well as records from the Ministry of Education (MOE) to ascertain the Legal Guardian of a child.

*Please note that only the Sponsoring Parent will be able to add your child in HealthHub app. This is referring to the parent who has sponsored the child at the point of application for Permanent Resident or for Naturalised Singapore Citizenship. Your child should be sponsored by either you or your spouse as there can only be one Sponsoring Parent for your child.
