What is National Electronic Health Record (NEHR)?

The National Electronic Health Record (NEHR) is a secure system that collects key summary patient health records across different healthcare providers. This enables authorised healthcare professionals to have a holistic view of your healthcare history. Your healthcare professionals may be accessing your records from their own Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Accesses made to your records in their own EMR systems are not included in the NEHR Access History.
