Why is HealthHub changing caregiver access controls to only allow full access to my health records?

We're making it simpler to manage your caregivers. Instead of having different levels of access, you can now either give your caregiver full access to all your health records, or no access at all.

If you give caregiver access to your loved ones, they'll be able to see all your health information from public hospitals and clinics. This includes your current health records and any new ones in future. Your caregiver will also be able to book appointments and handle other health services for you.

From 23 November 2025, any new caregiver you appoint will automatically have full access to all your health records on HealthHub and other healthcare apps.

If you have appointed a caregiver before 23 November 2025, they'll get full access to all your records once you accept and agree to the changes.
