If your care recipient is unable to provide consent or accept a caregiver request due to a loss of mental capacity, you will not be able to set up the caregiver relationship through HealthHub.
In such cases, you must be either:
- A Donee appointed under a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA); or
- A Court-Appointed Deputy.
You can apply directly with Singpass for authorised access to your care recipient's Singpass account. Once access has been granted, you can use your authorised access to manage digital services on behalf of your care recipient, including healthcare services.
