How do I add my loved ones as my care recipient on HealthHub?

You can add your loved ones as a care recipient on HealthHub to manage their healthcare transactions.


Follow these steps to add a care recipient on the HealthHub app.

Step 1: Add care recipient
Log in to your HealthHub app and tap Health Profiles at the bottom navigation bar. Under People under my care, tap Add loved ones.

  •  My children: If you are adding a child who is below 21 years old
  • Family & friends: If you are adding a loved ones who is 21 years old and above

Step 2: Update your details
Key in your full name as per your NRIC. Your name will be displayed to your loved one to help them identify you.

Step 3: Key in care recipient’s details
Enter your care recipient’s NRIC, display name, relationship to you and email. An email will be sent to your care recipient.

Step 4: Review details
Ensure all details entered are correct and tap Send Request to proceed.


Next, your care recipient needs to accept you as a caregiver. Follow these steps to accept a caregiver.

Step 1: View pending request from caregiver
Log in to your HealthHub app. Tap the notification icon, followed by View health profiles on the notification. At My caregivers section, select the caregiver needing your approval. 

Step 2: Accept caregiver request
Tap Accept to accept your caregiver’s request. You may also choose to decline the request by tapping Decline.

Step 3: Key in caregiver’s details
Enter your caregiver’s NRIC, display name and email. An email will be sent to your caregiver. 

Step 4: Confirm your mobile number and approve request
Verify your mobile number and tap Proceed. You will receive an SMS notification. After the verification has been completed, your caregiver will be listed in your Health Profiles under My caregivers


Updates to Caregiver Access Levels
From 23 November 2025, all newly appointed caregivers will be granted full access to their care recipients’ health records available on HealthHub, including any new records that are added in future.
