You can add your loved ones as a caregiver on HealthHub to allow them to manage your healthcare transactions and view your health records.
Follow these steps to add a caregiver.
Step 1: Add caregiver
Log in to your HealthHub app and tap Health Profiles at the bottom navigation bar. Under My caregivers, tap Add caregivers or Add new.
Step 2: Update your contact details
Update your contact details to receive notifications and updates on your request.
Step 3: Key in caregiver’s details
Enter your caregiver’s NRIC, display name and email. An email will be sent to your caregiver.
Step 4: Review caregiver’s details
Ensure all details entered are correct and tap Proceed.
From 23 November 2025, all newly appointed caregivers will be granted full access of your health records available on HealthHub, including any new records that are added in future.
Step 5: Confirm your mobile number and send request
Verify your mobile number and tap Proceed. You will receive an SMS notification. Your caregiver will be listed in your Health Profiles under My caregivers with a pending status.
Next, your caregiver needs to accept you as a care recipient. Follow these steps to accept a care recipient.
Step 1: View pending request from care recipient
Log in to your HealthHub app. Tap the notification icon, followed by View health profiles. Scroll down to Family & friends section and select the care recipient needing your approval.
Step 2: Accept care recipient request
Tap Accept to accept your care recipient’s request. You may also choose to decline the request by tapping Decline.
Step 3: Key in care recipient’s details
Enter your care recipient’s NRIC, display name, relationship and email. An email will be sent to your care recipient. After the verification has been completed, your care recipient will be listed in your Health Profiles under Family & friends.
