Overview

The HealthHub Payment e-Service makes it easy to view and pay your medical bills from public healthcare institutions across Singapore. You can manage payments for yourself, your children, and your care recipients all in one place, making healthcare bill management
simple and convenient.

You can help your family members and dependents with:

  • Viewing outstanding bills that require payment
  • Paying multiple bills in a single transaction
  • Paying bills on behalf of others
  • Viewing your payment history for previously paid bills
  • Downloading receipts for medical claims
What bills are covered:
  • Hospitalisation bills
  • Outpatient bills
  • Pharmacy bills (SingHealth only)

Viewing Outstanding Bills

Follow these steps to view your outstanding bills on HealthHub:

Step 1

Log in to your HealthHub app and tap Payments under Quick Links. 

If you need to view bills for your dependents, switch to their profiles.

Your outstanding bills are organised by healthcare clusters.

Tap on the cluster where you have payments due to see
your bills.

Step 3

Tap Download Bill to view the details of each bill. Check the amount due and payment deadline.

When Bills Appear in HealthHub

Your bills will appear in HealthHub once the healthcare institution has finalised all medical expenses from your visit. This typically takes:

  • Outpatient visits: 1-3 working days
  • Inpatient stays and complex cases: May take longer due to insurance claims processing and treatment verification
Note

Due to a new bill format implementation, only bills that are printed or reprinted in the new format will appear in the HealthHub app.

Paying Multiple Bills

Follow these steps to view and pay multiple bills on HealthHub:

Step 1

Select the bill(s) you want to pay, you can pay multiple outstanding bills in a single transaction. Tap Pay.

Input your name, contact number, and email address as prompted.

Select your preferred payment option, HealthHub accepts:

  • Credit cards (AMEX, Visa, Mastercard)
  • Debit cards (AMEX, Visa, Mastercard)
  • Direct Debit cards

Input your card information when prompted.

Step 5

You'll need to verify and authorise your payment through your banking app.

Follow on-screen instructions to launch your banking app. Approve the transaction using push notifications or digital tokens within the given timeframe.

Step 6

Once payment is successful, you'll receive confirmation. An email receipt will be sent to your email address.

You can also download your receipt in PDF format.

  • eNETS (for supported institutions)
Payment Limits
  • Credit cards: Limited by your credit limit
  • Debit cards and Direct Debit: Limited by your bank account balance or daily transaction limit
  • System maximum: $99,999.99
Fees and Currency
  • No administrative or transaction fees when paying through HealthHub
  • All bills are shown in Singapore Dollars
  • For foreign currency credit cards, exchange rates follow your bank's prevailing rate

Paying Bills for Others

For your Care Recipients

Use the Switch Profile function to manage bills for people you care for.

For Others

Use the Add Bill(s) function:

  1. Select the healthcare institution
  2. Enter the invoice or case number
  3. Enter the patient's NRIC
Pay on Behalf of others without Singpass log in

You can pay bills on behalf of others by selecting a healthcare institution, and entering the invoice or case number and patient's NRIC.

Viewing Payment History

You can view your payment history for previously paid bills:

Most institutions
  • Bill transactions from the last 12 months are displayed
Special cases
  • National Cancer Centre (NCC): Last 6 months only
  • Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC): Last 6 months only

Payment Reflection Timeline

HealthHub payments
  • Payments made through HealthHub using credit or debit cards will be reflected within 3 working days
Other channels
  • Payments made through self-service kiosks, PayNow, or AXS machines will be reflected on HealthHub after at least 3 working days
Important

For National Skin Centre, payments may take up to 2 weeks or longer to be reflected.

Making Successful Payment

Payment indicators for:

Successful payment
  • You reach the "Payment Completion" screen
  • You receive a transaction successful screen
  • An email receipt is sent to your email address
  • Funds are deducted from your card or bank account
Payment in progress
  • You'll see a "Payment In Progress" screen
  • Check your bank statement to confirm that your payment has been processed before paying again
Unsuccessful payment
  • You'll see a transaction unsuccessful screen
  • Follow on-screen instructions to retry your payment

Payment Security

Card details security

HealthHub does not store your credit card or debit card details for security reasons. You'll need to enter your payment details each time you make a payment. 

Payment destination

Payments are made directly to the respective healthcare clusters via secure payment solutions. Your bank statement will show the healthcare cluster name (e.g., "NUHS Pte Ltd" for NUHS payments, "SingHealth" for SingHealth payments).

Getting Receipts

Email Receipt

An email receipt is automatically sent to your email upon successful payment.

Download Options

You can also:

  • Print the "Payment Completion" screen
  • Download the receipt from the screen
  • Take a screenshot for your records
  • Download receipts from the History tab for medical claims

Receipts are only generated for successful payments.

Payment Issues

If you encounter issues when making payment

If your payment fails or is still pending, please follow the instructions shown on the screen for your next step. If your payment is still not reflected after 3 working days, contact your healthcare institution’s hotlines directly.

If payment fails but funds are deducted
  1. Re-launch the HealthHub app to check your bill status
  2. If the bill still shows as outstanding, complete the Payment Enquiry Form for your healthcare cluster

Banking App Verification Issues

  • If you don't receive push notifications, try clicking "resend notification"
  • Refer to your bank's website for troubleshooting guidance
  • Contact your bank directly if you cannot complete the transaction

Payments made through other channels

For payments that are made through other channels (such as self-service kiosks, PayNow, or AXS machines), they will be reflected on HealthHub after at least 3 working days.

If you have questions about your bills, need detailed breakdowns, or require interim bills, contact the healthcare institution directly.

Important

Do note that payment via AMEX is not applicable to other e-Services on HealthHub, e.g. request for medical reports/ certificates.

Things to Know

How far back can I view my past bill history?

Bills from the last 12 months are displayed for all participating healthcare institutions, except for National Cancer Centre (NCC) and Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), which display only the last 6 months.

What is the currency for the bills shown in HealthHub Payments, and what is the currency for payments?

All bills shown are in Singapore Dollars. For credit cards using foreign currencies, the exchange rates will follow the bank's prevailing rate. Please check with your bank for any other fees and charges tied to international transactions.

Are there any administrative or transaction fees to make payment for my medical bills through HealthHub? What are the available payment modes?

There are no administrative or transaction fees incurred when paying through HealthHub. Payments for medical bills can be made via AMEX, Visa/Mastercard credit or debit cards, and Direct Debit cards. Do note that payment via AMEX is not applicable to other e-Services on HealthHub.

What is the maximum amount that I can pay through HealthHub?
  • Credit Cards: The maximum payment amount is capped at your credit limit. 
  • Debit Cards and Direct Debit: The maximum payment amount is limited by either your bank account balance or your daily transaction limit, whichever is lower. 
  • System Limit: The maximum payment amount allowed by the system is $99,999.99.
Will I be issued with an official receipt for my online payment, either by HealthHub or by the respective healthcare institutions?

An email receipt will be sent to your email upon successful payment. However, you may also choose to print, download or take a screenshot of the "Payment Completion" screen, containing the receipt ID, for your record.

When will the funds be deducted from/charged to my credit/debit card or bank account? How would I know that my payment is successful?

When you reach the "Payment Completion" screen, this would confirm that the transaction has been approved and funds have been successfully deducted from your credit/debit card or bank account.

Successful Payment: You will see a transaction successful screen and an e-receipt will be sent to your email address. 

Unsuccessful Payment: You will see a transaction unsuccessful screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to make your payment again.

Does HealthHub store my credit card or debit card details?

HealthHub does not store your credit card or debit card details for security reasons. You will have to enter your payment details each time you make a payment through HealthHub.

How do I make payment using eNETS?

What if I do not disable my pop-up blocker, can I still proceed with my eNETS payment?

It is advisable that you temporarily disable the pop-up blocker so that the relevant transaction pages can be displayed properly. Upon successful payment, your transaction request can be completed, and you will receive an email confirmation.

Can I make partial payment for my bills on the NUHS App?

Is there any minimum payment amount required? Yes, you are able to make partial payment for your healthcare bills on the App. You can enter the preferred amount to pay. The minimum payment amount is $0.01.

Why are my bills not shown on HealthHub yet?

Your bills will appear in HealthHub once the healthcare institution has finalised all medical expenses incurred from your visit. This process typically takes 1-3 business days for outpatient visits and may take longer for complex cases or inpatient stays, as it involves processing insurance claims and verifying all treatments provided.

What is Auto Pay?

Auto-pay (also known as Zoom/ Express Pay) is payment arrangement that offers you the convenience to pay your bills without queueing and waiting at your last stop of service after your appointment.

This service is currently available in the following institutions: 

  • Yishun Health 
(Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Yishun Community Centre,
Admiralty Medical Centre),
  • National University Hospital
  • Jurong Health Campus (Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, Jurong Medical Centre, Jurong Community Centre).
